Unser Museum im Zentrum Weimars gehört zur Stiftung Gedenkstätten Buchenwald und Mittelbau Dora. Neben den Gedenkstätten Buchenwald und Mittelbau-Dora ist es der dritte Ort der historisch-politischen Bildung der Stiftung.

Forced Labor in Full Public View Interventions_2024

Artist interventions transport the history of forced labor under the Nazis into the space in a pointed manner. In the course of the museum opening, we developed them together with the Weimar artist Anke Heelemann from elements of our permanent exhibition.

Das Bild zeigt den Schriftzug "In Gesellschaft" in großen weißen hölzernen Buchstaben. Vor dem Schriftzug sind Sitzmatten auf Stufen ausgelegt die in eine Vertiefung führen. In der Vertiefung sind am rechten Bildrand ein runde Blaue Matte mit Stühlen darauf zu erkennen.
